The E level of awareness is a bit of a misnomer. When we start to recognize ourselves as biased, our reactions are already biased. When we recognize ourselves as biased, we have to correct it.
So we’re talking about the cognitive dissonance that happens when we’re in the middle of an important decision, like whether to buy a house or buy a car, and we’re not sure where to go but have that feeling like we’re going in the wrong direction. We have to decide to go to the other side of the aisle.
As we’ve discussed many times, this decision-making can be a bit unsettling at first. But the important thing is to recognize where you’re at emotionally and then to come out of the experience with a clear head.
Basically, the only way to know where you’re going is to know where youve been. If your brain has been thinking about the same question for years, you’re probably going the wrong way.
We like to say that we think we’re somewhere in between anxiety and depression, but really, all we’re really trying to do is stay alive. And if your brain is not getting the job done, it is possible to die. So if youve been thinking about death, you need to take a step back and ask yourself what you’re doing wrong.
The problem is that we’re all thinking about death at one point or another. Some of us are thinking about it more than others. Thats why we say that everyone is going to die. Thats why we say the world is coming to an end.
In the video above, you can see that the game is designed to be a survival game. And while that might sound like a good idea, it could also be one of the most dangerous. Deathloop is designed to be played by players who are either “just alive” or “just dying.” That means you are not getting the job done and you are not seeing the effects of your actions. It means you might be thinking about death more than you are actually doing.
