Gaye Raymond is an art historian and award-winning author who has written several books on the history of art. In her interview with The New York Times, she discusses the changing landscape of art and art appreciation.
Raymond looks to be a huge hit with this new documentary about the art world. The film looks to be a collection of archival footage and interviews, including a lot of people who were there when the art was around as well as those who are making it known today. The film looks to be quite good at taking a look back at the art world of the past and presenting it in a new light. It looks to be really fun to watch.
As always, I recommend the film to everyone. I can’t wait for it to come out on Netflix.

Gaye Raymond is the art critic for the New York Times. I saw gaye on last year’s show (she is one of my favorites) and was immediately hooked. I bought her book because I have a really high tolerance for art criticism, and the book is a great reference point for learning to write them. In the film, Raymond talks about her life as an art critic and I think it’s worth watching just to see her talk about how she spent her days.
Gaye wrote a lot of reviews for the NY times and was an incredibly popular and influential art critic. I don’t think it was until after Gaye’s death in 2006 that any of her reviews were allowed to be found online. I recently found a photo of her in her office with a big red bow on it and a note that read, “We will never be able to do our jobs doing the things we love and making art. Gaye, you’re a genius.
She died in 2006 (of a heart attack) and her work and persona were instantly forgotten, lost in the rush of the moment. She made a video for our website and posted it on YouTube that we will never see. But we did see her art reviews, which were quite good. I saw a review that was called “You won’t be able to stop laughing. It was so hilariously funny I wanted to laugh out loud.
She had a great sense of humor and humor was important to her. I think that really speaks about her. She was funny, but her humor wasn’t always in the light-hearted sort. She was always thoughtful and thoughtful humor was something she was very good at. It was important to her, to have your thoughts expressed to your friends, to have your ideas spoken aloud. This was a very creative thing for her.

Now she has her own blog and an audience of friends who are all very much in love with her. It’s a great feeling.
