It’s been quite the ride since I joined the site in 2011. I am a big fan of Consumer Reports, and I look forward to continuing to read their work. But one of the things that Consumer Reports does that I believe is very important is the research they do about consumer behavior.
And that’s an issue that we all need to be aware of. As we know, most of us can only afford so much discretionary spending in our lives. We also know that what we spend most of our money on is often things that aren’t particularly important. The best example of this is our electronics. Even though our televisions are the most expensive item in our home, they aren’t the only items that consume a large portion of our discretionary money.
A common misconception is that all these devices are equally important. The truth is that computers are the most important of all. We spend millions of dollars on computers every year and that is because of the way they are used in our everyday lives. The problem is that computers are often bought out of necessity and the way we are using them is largely the same as what we used the last time we purchased one.
Today most consumers know that the problem is that we are constantly purchasing things we simply don’t need. We are buying more and more electronics that are designed to be portable, lightweight, and cheap. We have so many things we don’t need that we are going to pay to have them shipped to us in our own countries.
This is a big issue because not all of these devices are created equal. In other words, if you buy a $1000 computer, chances are you are going to get a $100 laptop that is a bit heavier and with a more powerful processor. And if you buy a $1000 laptop, chances are you are going to be getting a $100 netbook that is even heavier and with a more powerful processor.
I can’t see any point in buying a laptop which is only meant for playing games. But then I’m not a gamer.
In the consumer reports, it’s clear that most of the laptops bought are the netbooks, even though they are lighter and with slower processors. I have come to the conclusion that many netbooks are not just about gaming, but also have a lot of software installed on them. And that software, when it is running, is not only using a lot of power (but in fact will actually damage your computer), but also is making your computer seem slow and sluggish.
I have yet to see a netbook with a fan, so I can’t say for sure, but my guess is that the fan is not only used to cool the computer, but also to blow hot air on the user, making the computer appear sluggish and slow. As a consequence, the fan makes the computer sound slow and sluggish, thus the consumers are left with the perception that their computer is slow and sluggish, not as fast as it can be.
The problem is that consumers aren’t aware of this. This is because the manufacturers and the OS vendors all sell computers that have a fan, so there is no way that a consumer can find out that a computer with a fan is actually faster than one without a fan. As a consequence, consumers are left with the perception that their computer is a bit slower than it needs to be.
The problem is that consumers arent aware that the manufacturers and OS vendors all sell computers that have a fan. Consumers arent aware that a computer with a fan is actually faster than one without a fan. They are just left with the perception that their computer is slower than it needs to be.
